Research

My work spans reinforcement learning, multimodal reasoning, world models, vision-language models, hierarchical planning, and brain-inspired approaches to perception and cognition. I am interested both in principled mathematical frameworks (e.g., predictive coding, free energy) and in their practical instantiation in modern deep learning systems.
